Elden Ring was the best-selling title of June 2024 in the USA thanks to the release of its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, but the real story of the month comes from Square Enix's weird and wonderful crossover series Kingdom Hearts. Following ports to Steam — previously exclusive to the Epic Games Store — the Kingdom Hearts: Integrum Masterpiece collection jumped an absurd 396 places to become the third best-selling of the month. The bundle brought all the Kingdom Hearts titles to the main PC platform, quite clearly after significant pent-up demand.
What helped to boost sales further was a 30 per cent discount the individual games and overall Integrum Masterpiece bundle launched with. Instead of the RRP of £84.99 / $99.99, the large collection was sold for £58.64 / $68.99 for two weeks.
Sandwiched in between Elden Ring and Kingdom Hearts was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which continues to sell with a new drop of content for the multiplayer mode and Warzone in Season 5. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, the upgraded and expanded re-release of the former Nintendo Switch exclusive, was a new entry in fourth position.
Ghost of Tsushima, the previous month's best-selling game, slipped to 12th in June. Helldivers 2 also slipped a number of places into 11th, while the latest Gold Road DLC propelled The Elder Scrolls Online up 180 places into 18th position.
PS5 was once again the best-selling console in terms of both units shifted and dollar sales, with Nintendo Switch in second place for systems sold and Xbox Series X|S in second for dollar sales. Sony's handheld PS Portal device was again the best-selling accessory of the month, while the most bought controller was the PS5's Midnight Black design.

Good news because if more people play this there's a higher chance that someone can explain the story to the rest of the world
Glad to see SMT V on the 4rth place even a month after release.
Was expecting it to be up 258/2 places
I just picked up SMTV Vengeance. And the differences are like night and day between ps5 and switch 😭. No headaches in the yellow desert so far. Time to see how the red and blue deserts fair. I wish this was my first experience with the game
They have good taste ^__^ 😜
Helldivers 2 is still number one for the year. curious to see if it stays in the top three for the year. Don't know how big COD will be this year with it being on gamepass for Xbox and PC.
@Czar_Khastik Comment of the week hahahaha
Things are not looking good in the industy right now
Always happy to see KH selling well. Hopefully the move to multi-plat has the same outcome for FF too.
@DonkeyFantasy sales down and thousands of job losses are not an indication the industry is fine
Let's ***** go kingdom hearts I'm getting ready to play the series counter to my daybreak playthrough with some mario kart sprinkled in there 😎
@Czar_Khastik you’re right, because that person certainly won’t be me. I’d rather not curse the rest of the world with the knowledge.
@Czar_Khastik
There is a fantastic "short" 4 hour video on youtube that attempts this
Nice to see SF 6 in the top 20. Capcom just update SF 6 sales numbers from 3.3 million to 3.77 million copies which is half of SF V sales. Possibly Capcom Cup X, recent EVO, and the game popularity with Vtuber gave a nice boost. I guess Capcom target 10 million copies for life time sales is possible.
Oh no, I know what you’re talking about.
@Czar_Khastik in a more serious note, I do have something that’ll help you understand all of KH. Hopefully this will help everything be clear. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yA0Ugi8CTwo&pp=ygUPYW5zZW0gdGhlIHdpc2Ug
@Netret0120 @Yousef- Thank you, I will watch both of these for an entire day on repeat so maybe everything will make sense then
@Czar_Khastik that’s cool, and please don’t forget the most important thing:
And these
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KrvXOeP2ZeY https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AzaSnVDR54o
I’ll say no more.
@Yousef- Things are getting clearer by each post. Love the videos by the way, I didn't realize this was a thing but it's great
@Czar_Khastik 😊 I’m really happy for you, friend. If you ever get confused again, just remember this line: “I knew when I met you, you and Kairi smell the same.”.
@Yousef- The world needs more of what the writers were smoking
@Czar_Khastik artist*
The director of KH was an artist, KH was his directory debut after he overheard devs talking after an elevator pitch.
None of this is made up and you can feel free to verify it with a quick google. Remember, I’m the serious one.
@Yousef- I never looked up the origins but the game itself is like a fever dream. I believe you, but they overcomplicated things without any reason. Did you play KH3? I played the first two and I'll get into the third soon so I was wondering if the game does a decent job of explaining the story so far?
@Czar_Khastik kh3 will likely be easier to understand than the current presidential debate, but it will be harder to understand than Shakespearean plays, so play at your discretion.
Honestly at some point, you don’t play the game, it plays you. Just a few words of advice:
Let it go, let it go.
(You’ll understand this later)
